BENQ S6 – Another mobile internet device.

I don’t have any plans (and cash) to buy a new multimedia 3G enabled phone, but these days I am just trying to understand the whole 3G stock in market. Recently while browsing through Google, I landed up at Benq website and found their new device called BENQ S6. After reading its specifications it sounds almost like a desktop machine.

S6 works on an 800 MHz Intel Atom processor with 512MB DDR2 RAM and a 2GB Hard Drive. It supports 800 x 480 resolution, HD audio and a lot of multimedia file extensions. But, the thing which I really like is the in-built USB 2.0 port and a mini SD card reader, if have this machine in your pocket you don’t have to look around for PCs to access you flash drive’s content.  

With its 4.8’’ high resolution and touch-screen panel and strong processor unit it becomes a good device for mobile internet, office application and gaming. And ya…It does have gesture controls like iPhone you can switch to landscape – portrait mode, resize webpages, browse the photos and files by swiping your finger across the screen.
  

In terms of look and feel, iPhone truly wins, but in case of functionality BENQ S6 is a good option too.
